One nice phrase in the Czech language is the 'cucumber season'. Surprisingly, there isn't an equivalent in English that I know. The English don't have the summer for it. The Americans are work-obsessed and wouldn't like the concept if they understood it. The Canadians are too serious for it. The Australians relax all the year round.
