When we consider the links between Britain and the Czech lands, there are quite a few points of reference: from Peter 'English', ally and follower of Jan Hus, through the alchemist Edward Kelly, to the government in exile of Tomas Masaryk, to infamously the events of Munich and the treaty of Potsdam. We shouldn't forget, of course, the Czech pilots of the second world war, and notable figures such as the philosopher Jaroslav Krejčí, who taught in England for many years.
